Historic Baca Home: Baca home just 1 block northwest of the plaza. Home was built in 1913 by A.B. Baca and is still owned by the family.
Memorial Sculpture:  Commemorates the founding of Socorro in 1698 by Juan de Onate.
Bistro:  The original J.J. Baca store where Elfego was working when Pedro Saraccino came for help in Frisco has been restored to the Old Town Bistro. Stop in for a drink or meal in this historic building.
Unique Historic Tiles:  True to Socorro's Hispanic origins, unique tile plaques commemorate the historic figures of Socorro.

  Travel to Socorro, NM

Heritage Plaza, Old Town Socorro New Mexico is a great place to start in exploring Socorro.

From the I 25, exit on Bus 25 or N. California St. Turn west on Manzaneres Ave. A short block and you will be at Heritage Plaza.

Gracing the center of the plaza is the sculpture commemorating the founding of Socorro by Juan de Onate in 1698. Many of the building surrounding the plaza are restored original buildings.
